Saint-Girons. ORRIS Cultural Musical special end of semester

Saint-Girons. ORRIS Cultural Musical special end of semester
Descriptive text here

The last ORRIS Cultural Musical of the semester will see Mélanie Lesage Trio and the Chorale Sans Nom play this Thursday, 7 p.m., at the Ateliers de la Liberté. With the ACARM09 at the associative table.

Thursday a month, Saint-Girons lives to the rhythm of ORRIS Cultural Musicals: invitations to discover, free and open to all, emerging musical projects and associations with strong social and societal values. Evenings falling within the framework of the ADECC Spectator Workshops, supported here by the departmental SMAC Art’Cade and the ORRIS association. This Thursday, May 2, from 7 p.m., time for an evening celebrating the end of the semester, before a resumption in September, bringing together Mélanie Lesage Trio, the Chorale Sans Nom and ACARM09. Mélanie Lesage Trio and her Pop-Folk will take you on a sailboat along the French coast and invite you into the privacy of her cabin. Warmed by Mélanie’s solar timbre, the songs of this young trio formed in January 2022 are soft and light, accompanied by the notes of a Rhodes, a Lapsteel and a Double Bass. A poetic universe that will plunge you head first into a Pop-Folk cocoon for a timeless moment where you will probably come across Pomme, Olivia Ruiz or Ben Harper. La Chorale Sans Nom, for its part, will then offer a set in polyphony mode from here and elsewhere. The traditional associative table will be occupied by ACARM09 (Couserannaise Association for the Reception of Refugees and Migrants). This association has been working since 2016 in Couserans with migrant people in difficulty via educational support, legal and administrative assistance, housing and integration assistance, and many others.
