A little over a week has passed since Android Headlines and @OnLeaks shared renders of a new Nokia phone. According to the two authors, the device would soon be available under the name Nokia 225 4G. However, it turns out that this device is one of the three upcoming phones in the Nokia 2 series.
As shown in the image below, the other two models are Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 235 4G. Although it’s difficult to tell the trio apart at first glance, HMD Global has attempted to differentiate them in several areas. For example, the Nokia 215 4G is the only one of the three that doesn’t have a camera. As for the Nokia 225 4G, it is the only representative of the series to have a 2.4-inch screen.
In contrast, the Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 235 4G both use 2.8-inch displays, although they are all described as IPS panels. It seems that the Nokia 235 4G has a better camera than the Nokia 225 4G. The trio appears to offer similar bodies though, as well as USB Type-C ports and a traditional T9 physical keyboard. Unfortunately, it remains to be seen when any of these new feature phones will be officially revealed, let alone orderable. Besides, it seems that HMD Global is set to bring back the Nokia 3210 as Nokia 3210 2024.
