HyperX has been busy releasing the new version of its Cloud headset. The Cloud II arrives with a big new feature: the addition of 7.1 sound virtualization, but also a new control and USB connectivity. To date, no gaming headset has really been able to satisfy us with its sound virtualization. Will Cloud II be first?

The HyperX Cloud II arrives with the same characteristics as those of its predecessor, plus 7.1 sound virtualization. Unfortunately, the latter is far from convincing us. For this reason, we highly recommend the first Cloud of the name, whose quality/price ratio is more interesting.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Cartesian product par excellence, the Logitech G435 shows all the qualities expected of a headset gaming entry-level wireless: a very simple, but satisfactory design, a no-fuss user experience, finally — and above all — more than decent performance, both in terms of the speakers and the microphone. Above all, the versatility provided by dual radio connectivity via USB/Bluetooth is a very nice bonus. In particular, it forms a very attractive pair with the Nintendo Switch, thanks to its very low streaming latency.
