Sky and space observers are on alert. The lucky ones just have to admire the spectacle.

Since Friday, the Earth is struck by several geomagnetic storms. Indeed, a super sunspot group made its appearance on April 25 and 26 on the surface of the star. A great group named “AR3638-50” who had the particularity of knowing a intense explosive activity.

Frequency

As a result, solar storms or coronal mass ejections (CMEs) headed straight towards Earth. And since this Saturday, the blue planet has been hit by several geomagnetic storms. Minor to moderate but repeated episodes with sustained frequency which affected almost the entire surface of the Earth. Radio disturbances called “blackouts” were notably observed. About the Space Weather gave the alert this Saturday early in the afternoon.

This Sunday morning, specialists announce a geomagnetic activity which could arise from the observation ofnorthern Lights at unusual latitudes. To be continued.
