Decazeville. Patrice Hennequet: new heating engineer in the area

the essential
Patrice Hennequet has just set up his own business as a heating engineer and emergency plumbing repairer.

It is always nice to have a new craftsman in the area, to see motivated people taking action, like Patrice Hennequet who opened “Dépan’eau gaz”.

For almost 30 years in the business and after-sales service, Patrice wanted to fly on his own: “It had been on my mind for quite some time. In 2019, just before Covid, minor health problems delayed my installation. Then the company where I worked in was bought out. I waited a little to see how we would get going again but the desire to create my own small business remained strong. I was also fed up with going up to the Ruthénois every day with long journeys, while I live on the heights of Decazeville.”

Two formations

The craftsman has followed two training courses. The first concerns the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of gas boilers. Having followed advanced training courses, acquired approvals and solid experience, he can work on different brands of boilers, Frisquet, Vaillant, ELM Blanc, De Dietrich, Chappee. Please note, he only does gas boilers, no fuel oil, no air conditioning.

The second training concerns plumbing: “For this sector, I could only do emergencies or modest repairs when the installers will not necessarily have time to intervene. Stop a leak, replace a tap for example.”

Its range of action is wide, the entire Basin, the Lot Valley, and from Rodez to Capdenac. Patrice Hennequet makes a point of honor to respect the time slots: “I will stick to the times indicated as far as possible in order to reassure customers. And that is why I will only take plumbing emergencies. I will be able to intervene on Saturdays and some Sundays, subject to an additional package.”
