Powkiddy has now started selling the RGB10X, which has arrived about a fortnight after the first details about the device were leaked online. As expected, Powkiddy has decided to offer its latest gaming console in three colours, namely transparent black, grey and yellow. Additionally, the company is offering the option to configure 64 or 128GB MicroSD cards from the factory.

That said, the RGB10X does have a second MicroSD card slot that allows for more games than the base MicroSD card can hold. For reference, the device measures 145 x 73.2 x 17mm, so it has a relatively small screen and a small battery. Specifically, Powkiddy has included a 2,800mAh battery that it claims will last up to eight hours of gaming. Unfortunately, the use of trickle-charging technology means it will take around two hours to fully charge the battery.

Still, the RGB10X also features a 3.5-inch IPS display with a 640 x 480 resolution that Powkiddy complements with a Rockchip RK3326 chipset and 1GB of LPDDR3L RAM. As a result, the RGB10X will be about as powerful as the much older RGB20S (currently $79.99 on Amazon). The RGB10X is currently available for $39.99, or $49.99 with a 128GB MicroSD card. At the time of publication, Powkiddy hopes to begin shipping on September 25.
