At the IFA show in Berlin, Samsung presented two new video projectors: The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7.
Redefining the cinema experience at home. This is Samsung’s vision, which unveiled its two new video projectors at the IFA show in Berlin. Named The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7, these ultra-short throw projectors feature advanced laser technology to offer a “high-quality entertainment solution” at home, Samsung assures in a press release.
“A true home cinema experience”
While the top-of-the-line model, The Premiere 9, is the only one to feature triple laser technology to deliver high brightness and increased color accuracy, both projectors “bring every scene to life” with 4K resolution and color, according to Samsung. They also feature speakers to “create a true home theater experience” with powerful, immersive sound.
Both models also benefit from artificial intelligence features like Vision Booster, which automatically adjusts contrast and colors so users can see every detail in ambient light.
Running on Samsung Tizen OS, The Premiere 9 and The Premiere 7 also allow users to directly access Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and other streaming platforms. In addition to movies and series, users can use these projectors to play video games with Samsung’s Gaming Hub platform. It is also possible to use them to project personalized decorations from the Smartthings app onto the walls with the new Ambient mode.
Samsung has not yet revealed the prices of its two projectors, which will be available for purchase from October 2 on its online store. They will also be sold in certain points of sale in France, the manufacturer indicates without providing further details.
