According to police, a 41-year-old Italian fired several shots during a dispute between several people in front of a church in Wald ZH. A 46-year-old man was slightly injured. The alleged perpetrator was later arrested by the police.

The argument occurred around 10:30 a.m. in front of the Reformed Church, a spokesman for the Zurich cantonal police told the Keystone-SDA news agency upon request. A man suffered a gunshot wound.

According to the police spokesman, the perpetrator fled after the incident. Shortly after noon, the suspected shooter was discovered and arrested. The background to the crime was initially unclear.
