The rapper and YouTuber was initially arrested in Brisbane, Australia. Now he has to answer in court.
Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, Yung Filly’s real name, is facing serious allegations. The rapper, best known for YouTube collective Beta Squad and hosting shows on BBC Three, is alleged to have raped a woman in her 20s.
The attack is said to have happened during the Australian tour
On Tuesday October 8th, Yung Filly was arrested in Brisbane and taken to Perth, Australia the following day to attend court starting Thursday October 10th. The 29-year-old is accused of four counts of sexual penetration without consent. He is also charged with three counts of assault. Among other things, he is said to have prevented the plaintiff, who wishes to remain anonymous, from breathing by putting pressure on her neck.
The crime is said to have happened on September 28th while he was on tour in Australia. The musician allegedly took the woman into his hotel room after a performance at Bar1 in Perth and harassed her against her will.
