The guests from Ticino, who were still in action in the Conference League on Thursday, started the game furiously and had three good chances to score in the first five minutes. They failed twice because of FCZ goalie Yanick Brecher, once because of the edge of the goal. A good 20 minutes later, Lugano made up for what they missed and scored a deserved lead through Ignacio Aliseda. After a pass from Renato Steffen, the Argentine finished with a well-placed low shot.

Zurich’s answer came in the first half. Juan Perea, who returned after a red card suspension, equalized with his fifth goal of the season. The Colombian headed a cross from Bledian Krasniqi in the 35th minute.

St. Gallen has to tremble after taking a lead against Servette, but saves at least one point over time at 1-1.
Shortly before the final whistle, Dereck Kutesa had the winning goal for the guests, but missed from a tight angle. It would have been an undeserved reward after Servette showed an improvement in performance in the second half.

Miroslav Stevanovic scored the equalizer when the second half was less than a minute old. The Eastern Swiss team, who had taken the lead in the 21st minute with a header from Lukas Görtler, seemed to lose their strength as the game wore on.
