Massive disruption at Salt resolved – at times over 7,000 reports

Since around 9:15 a.m., Salt’s network has received over 3,500 reports on the website Alletreib.ch. The mobile Internet appears to be affected in more than half of the cases. The company’s website was also temporarily unavailable.

Shortly before 10 a.m. the reports had decreased and the number was just over 2,000. Customers of the other major providers Sunrise and Swisscom are also reporting more outages than usual. When asked, the Swisscom media office said there was currently no problem. At Sunrise, the disruption reports decreased shortly before 10 a.m.

“We can confirm that there was a brief partial disruption of the Internet and mobile services for our customers this morning,” said Salt’s media office when asked by 20 Minutes. The problem was “immediately resolved”. All services worked perfectly again.

“We apologize to the affected customers for the inconvenience.” The cause is currently still being clarified, which is why no information can be provided. If you continue to have problems accessing the Internet, Salt recommends restarting the device.
