Brigitte Bardot: these “tons” of letters and gifts received for her 90th birthday

Impossible to know whether to write “Initials B.B.” on an envelope is enough to successfully reach La Madrague, her remote home near Saint-Tropez, but one thing is certain: all her correspondents managed to contact Brigitte Bardot before her birthday, Saturday September 28. The icon of French cinema was then celebrating his 90th birthday. An event celebrated by the inhabitants of Saint-Tropez, his adopted city, but also by his fans from all over the world with letters and gifts. They arrived in packets, said Nice-Morning, and all passed into the hands of the first French animal defender.

In her villa, Brigitte Bardot has been surrounded by “tons” letters, arriving in whole bags from all over the world, containing poems, paintings, pots of jam, but also bouquets or chocolate. Our colleagues, present when the actress opened one of these packages, even reported that an admirer sent her cakes from Honfleur. A delicate attention which reminds Bernard d’Ormale’s wife of her birthday although she would prefer to forget it, but to which she still devotes the necessary time so as not to leave any missive unanswered.

Because if many stars do not take the time to personally open the letters addressed to them, the supporter of the National Rally is not one of them. Reading each of the messages that arrives at her home, she does not hesitate to write “Stunning” in red letters on those who particularly touched her, or even to call her correspondents by telephone. In the absence of a call, some signatories will have the pleasure of discovering a letter or a bottle of champagne sent by the sultry blonde for their birthday.
