Jose David Figueroa August He reappeared after his release in March 2020, after having been in prison for 10 years in the United States for drug trafficking.

It was in an interview on the Alofoke program, broadcast through Youtube, in which Figueroa Agosto indicated that he is currently dedicated to commercial activities and is working on a book, in which he will expose his life.

I’m working on a book that I sold the rights to. complete version of my book, my lawyers are working on it, I have already sold the rights (…) I have really gone through everything in my life, everything that is possible, because there are things that I have to respect, other legal parts that I cannot go into,” he indicated when making contact by telephone with the panelists.

He said he has been working on the book for 10 months, for which he sold the rights to information about his life, and that is why he could not go into further details in the conversation. The book does not yet have a title, but he said they were working on it.

Among other things, Figueroa Agosto said that in the book he will not mention “megadivas” or Dominican showbiz presenters with whom he was linked and denied that he presented himself as an architect and that he offered goods to the communicator Tamara Martínez in exchange for establishing a relationship.

Figueroa also disassociated himself from the colonel’s deaths Jose Amado Gonzalez and Gonzalez, of Vianesa Cesarina Capellán Pérez “Bianca la gorda” and other deaths of people for which the Dominican authorities pointed to him as responsible.

He indicated that when he fled from the Dominican Republic he did so by sea to Puerto Rico.

He defined himself as a merchant who was far from illicit businesses, although he did not specify what things he sells.

The conversation took place by telephone, with the presence of Sobeida Félix Morel’s former lawyer, Félix Portes, and another woman identified as a lawyer, who was at her side, but about whom she did not offer any details.

He also referred to his ex-partner Sobeida Félix Morel, with whom he said he has not had any further contact and that he wishes her the best in her life.

He said that he made an agreement with the United States to reduce his prison sentence, but that he only handed over assets there and did not report or accuse anyone from his organization.

He admitted that He was a drug trafficker, a bandit, who did things wrong and urged youth not to follow that path that only leads to prison or death.
