Canadian: defender Jayden Struble was transferred to the Laval Rocket

The Montreal Canadiens traded defenseman Jayden Struble to the Laval Rocket for conditioning purposes on Friday.

The American guard was left out by head coach Martin St-Louis in the team’s last seven games.

In 26 games with the Habs this season, the 23-year-old has amassed 2 goals and 3 assists, and has a minus-7 rating.

The Rocket plays tonight in Hartford against the Wolf Pack and in Providence on Sunday against the Bruins.
