The redevelopment work on the Grand Stade de Tangier is progressing rapidly. This Wednesday, January 22, they reached a new level. Indeed, Moroccan specialists and engineers ensured the installation of the first giant cable cars at the top of the northeast stands of the stadium.
This operation was carried out via giant cranes under the supervision of workers, engineers and subject matter experts, alongside the arrival of trucks carrying the first delivery of these basic parts the day before yesterday, Monday.
As the 360 correspondent on site was able to observe, this important maneuver was accomplished with great care and success, while awaiting the completion of the other work remaining to be carried out and which must be carried out within the time and deadline set. .
A real jewel
-The facelift operation of the Grand Stade de Tangier aims to increase its reception capacity, following Morocco’s official announcement to organize the 2030 World Cup in our country, alongside Portugal and Spain. It will have to accommodate more than 90,000 spectators.
But in addition to getting a facelift, the Grand Stade de Tangier presents itself as a real jewel, honoring the Kingdom’s facilities for hosting major sporting events including the 2025 African Cup of Nations.
Especially since the local authorities of the city and especially the supreme body of national football are closely following the gigantic project which will undoubtedly not fail to arouse esteem and admiration.
