Rocket: Joshua Roy will be out for 4 to 6 weeks due to injury

The Rocket lost a big piece in their quest for the top of the standings in their division.

The team announced Monday afternoon that forward Joshua Roy was hampered by an upper-body injury and would be out four to six weeks.

The Canadiens’ farm club also confirmed that a lower body injury will keep defenseman William Trudeau out of action for one to two weeks.

Roy has had great success this season with the Rocket with 14 goals and 27 points in 33 games. He sits atop the team in scoring, tied with Alex Barré-Boulet.

Roy was injured Friday when he hit hard against the boards. He had left the match.
