Mercato: PSG and Naples agree on the transfer of Kvaratskhelia

While the positions had already been closer for several days, Naples and PSG have practically completed the transfer of Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia. If a few details remain to be resolved to definitively close the operation, the two clubs agreed this Monday for compensation estimated at 70 million euros, excluding bonuses, according to information from L’Équipe that we can confirm. During the day of Monday, the leaders of Naples and PSG continued to discuss to try to find the formula that would suit the different parties.

Excited by the PSG project, with which he has already agreed for a long-term contract, the 23-year-old Georgian is only waiting for the green light from his management to go to to undergo his medical examination. The final agreement should not take long now, since all parties agree that the transfer will be successful, and Tuesday should allow the final bonuses to be set.

Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia was the priority of Luis Campos and coach Luis Enrique to densify the offensive sector which should lose Randal Kolo Muani in the coming days. Requested by Manchester United, Tottenham and AC Milan, the Parisian number 23 is also the subject of heavy pressure from Juventus where the former Parisian Thiago Motta, now coach of the Old Lady, is pushing hard for his arrival.

From an Italian source, the Turin club would even be “very confident” despite the latest obstacles to overcome, particularly on the formula negotiated with Paris. Recent discussions focused on a loan with a compulsory purchase option (or not?), a detail which is important. The competition has not yet said its last word, but in Turin RKM is already unanimous.
