What more beautiful setting than the environment of the Opéra Garnier in the heart of Paris to lift the veil on a livery eagerly awaited by fans?
Cadillac and its new armed wing Hertz Team JOTA presented this Monday evening the livery of the V-Series.R at Cadillac City Paris, the new “Experience Center” of the American brand in the French capital, dedicated to electric vehicles.
What to remember from this livery? That the gold color, dear to the title sponsor Hertz, remains in place as was the case on the Porsche 963. To find traces of the differences between the No. 12 and No. 38, go to the side of the mirrors (red on n°12, black on n°38), a line upstream of the rear wheels (red on n°12, yellow on n°38) and the crest line of the shark fin and the drifts rear wing (red on #12, yellow on #38).
In accordance with the regulations which oblige each manufacturer to enter two Hypercars in the premier class of the WEC, the No. 12 and No. 38 Cadillac V-Series.R will be involved throughout the 2025 season, for the first year of JOTA as a factory team.
“The reveal of the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA V-Series.R livery today is the culmination of a tremendous amount of work and commitment from all sides of this new motorsport family, admits David Clark, co-founder and director of the team. It is a moment of great pride for the entire group. This moment represents more than just aesthetics for the year to come, it represents the next step for both brands that have won races and set records in the WEC.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Hertz for being an incredible partner in this adventure and to show our gratitude to GM/Cadillac for believing in us, not only in our ability to perform, but also for their confidence in the level at which we will represent one of their most prestigious brands on the world stage. »
Remember that the six Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA drivers have already been confirmed by the alliance, namely Sébastien Bourdais, Norman Nato, Will Stevens, Jenson Button, Alex Lynn and Earl Bamber. However, the distribution of the two crews still remains uncertain.
Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA has been at work on the track for several weeks, since after the Ring of the Rhine, it was at Paul Ricard that the American LMDhs filed down the asphalt. Session where we were able to go behind the scenes to better understand the joint work between the American firm and the British team.
