The Turin derby ends without a winner and without coaches – Serie A – J20 – Torino-Juventus (1-1)

Turin 1-1 Juventus

Boots: Vlasic (45e+1) // Star (8e)

Like the start of a crisis.

Upset by Fiorentina and Milan in its last two matches, Juventus disappointed again against Torino this Saturday (1-1). Already a scorer during the first derby of the season in November, Kenan Yildiz did it again with a low shot at the edge of the area (0-1, 8e). The young Turk’s sixth goal this season. Nikola Vlašić, however, brought back the Bianconeri to reality by slamming a fantastic left half-volley just before half-time (1-1, 45e+1).

The tension pushed the referee to clean up during the second act, and he did not hesitate to make a clean sweep: the two coaches, Paolo Vanoli and Thiago Motta, were sent off in the 56the minute for a spat at the edge of the lawn. Like last season, Juve will therefore have lost two points, and their nerves, at the Stadio Olimpico. Only fifth in the championship, and threatened by Fiorentina, the Old Lady is at the foot of a mountain, since Atalanta (January 14), Milan (January 18) and Naples (January 25) will be on the menu for the next three days.

The moment of truth.
