Dréan confirms his good form
After scoring against Pau then against Bordeaux-Bègles, Gaël Dréan confirmed his current good momentum by scoring two tries, in the 29th and 79th minutes. His last try scored at the end of the race allowed his team to win the offensive bonus for good, logical in view of their solid performance. These two tries allow the 24-year-old wing three-quarter to remain first in the ranking of the best try scorers in the championship.
The decisive Garrec
He was undoubtedly the best player of Racing 92 this Saturday. Author of a serious match, Nolann Le Garrec scored two of his team’s three tries in the 9th and 59th minutes. The Ile-de-France scrum-half will have shown mischief each time to allow his team to maintain the hope of winning. The French international scored 19 of his team’s 24 points. He gave up his place post for post to Clovis Le Bail in the 70th minute who was unable to avoid the defeat of his team.
Solid tuicuvu
Author of a very solid match, Setariki Tuicuvu was one of the strongest Toulon players in this match. The Fijian winger scored two tries in the 6th and 13th minutes which put Pierre Mignoni’s men on the right track. These are the 29-year-old’s 5th and 6th tries in the Top 14 this season. A good performance which allows his team to preserve its invincibility at Mayol this season.

Racing 92 still in crisis
Racing remains in crisis. Even if they were not ridiculous against one of the best teams in the championship, the Racingmen conceded another defeat and are unable to escape the crisis in which they have been stuck for several weeks. Despite the good match of Le Garrec and Woki, the Altosequan club continues a fifth match in a row without a victory in the Top 14 before a high-risk trip to Glasgow on Friday in the Champions Cup.
Charles Ollivon injured in the knee
This is a real blow for RC Toulon and for the XV of France. Var captain Charles Ollivon was injured at the very start of the match during the action which led to the first try scored by Tuicuvu. The Toulon forward has a knee injury and could suffer from a sprain; he will undergo examinations on Monday, said his manager Pierre Mignoni. His participation at the start of the Six Nations Tournament with the Blues is seriously compromised…
