In Lannion, the show on the life of Marcelle Joubert sells out

“Oh thank you!” I am very touched, but it is especially my grandchildren who should be applauded. » Acclaimed by 150 spectators, this Friday, at the Espace Sainte-Anne, as a preamble to the show telling the story of her life, Marcelle Joubert, 95, immediately paid tribute to those who gave birth to this “only one -scene” of one hour: his grandson Benoit and (especially) his partner Marie Tartrais, professional actress and author of this scripted biography devoted to this figure lannionnaise.

Known for having raised twelve children, including a family of four orphans who without her and her late husband Jean would have been separated, Marcelle Joubert devoted most of her life to helping others, sheltering hundreds of people in difficulty, rue de Tréguier.

The show “Marcelle, based on a true story” will be performed again in Sainte-Anne this Saturday, December 28. Part of the funds collected during these two Lannion dates will be donated to the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul association. After last spring, future performances are planned in , Carnac but also at the festival, from July 6 to 26.
