The 4,000 conscripts have undergone initial military training over the past four months, while the second phase (8 months) will be devoted to professional training in several specialties that take into account the skills and study levels of these individuals.
The basic training program focused on the military aspect, including military movements, martial arts, civic education and physical education, with the aim of strengthening moral values and discipline among conscripts and introduce you to the military lifestyle.
In a speech addressed to the conscripts during the oath-taking ceremony, Major General Ahmed Bousserbat, commander of the Oued Draâ military sector, indicated that the oath-taking is considered the act of permanent allegiance to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, supreme leader and chief of general staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
He urged those called up for military service to become aware of the deep meanings of this sacred commitment and to grasp the scope of this strong bond, which is embodied by pride in attachment to the homeland and love of country.
Major General Bousserbat noted that the second phase of military service will be entirely devoted to the acquisition of skills in certain military and technical specialties which will allow conscripts to improve their professional abilities and practical skills.
In this regard, he called on them to continue their efforts during the next phase with more serious work and commitment in order to take full advantage of the programs and means provided by the Royal Armed Forces for the success of their professional training, capable of allowing them to integrate the ranks of the FAR, for those who meet the necessary conditions or the job market.
He also took this opportunity to pay tribute to all the instructors, in particular the officers, non-commissioned officers and non-commissioned officers, who devoted themselves to the training and supervision of these conscripts in accordance with the High Royal Instructions aimed at successfully completing this noble mission.
For their part, several instructors and conscripts expressed their satisfaction with the smooth running of military training, and their wish to begin the specialization stage, which will help strengthen their knowledge and professional skills.
In this context, the instructor at the 4th conscript training center, Captain Issam Saadaoui, declared that the first stage, which concerns common basic training, allowed the beneficiaries to consolidate their moral, psychological and physical capacities to begin the professional training stage with a view to their integration into the ranks of the Royal Armed Forces for those who meet the necessary criteria, or the job market.
