A title within reach of Tiger Woods

Despite the many pitfalls he continues to overcome, former world number 1 golfer Tiger Woods can still stand out on the greens and at the end of the week, the help of his son Charlie proves to be most useful.

The Woods duo is indeed at the top after the initial round of the PNC Championship played on the fairways of the Ritz-Carlton Club in Orlando. On Saturday, the two players posted a card of 59, or 13 shots under par, to share the lead with the teams of Vinjay Singh and Bernhard Langer.

Remember that this event brings together around twenty tandems made up of a major tournament or Players Championship champion and a member of his family.

Just like last year, the Woods are banking on Sam, the Tiger's daughter, as their caddy.

In addition, other women have the opportunity to set foot on the court, including world number 1, Nelly Korda, who plays alongside her father Petr, a former professional tennis player. They are ninth at 63 (-9) before the second round scheduled for Sunday. Annika Sorenstam is also part of the group of competitors.
