What are you doing ? You’re building something!”

“The club has had some good times since my last match with Rouches, but the last few years have not been good to see. I spoke a lot with Ronny Deila when he was the coach, I hoped he would continue and I wasn’t happy when he left. In Norway, Ole Martin Årst is currently participating in a television show and posting extracts on his Instagram account. “It’s like an Advent calendar, with 24 Norwegian personalities competing in various little games. Each week, one candidate is eliminated until the grand final.” And if the former top scorer in the championship is still in the race, he can count on the support of a former teammate. “Ali Lukunku actually sent me a message this week to ask me where he could see the show,” he laughs.

Ole Martin Årst does not close the door to a return to Standard

It is therefore in front of his television set, this time not on the set, but with an attentive eye that Årst will follow the meeting between the Rouches and the Buffalos. A Standard that Ole Martin Årst would like to see again at the height of his glory, and that he could help if the club deemed it necessary.

“If a club like Standard wants help, I would say yes, straight away! I could help them look for players, intermediaries or whatever it takes. If Standard one day thinks they need me, they are more than welcome,” he concluded. The message got through.
