Joyce Roulin takes over from James Provost

Members of the Dunois Ball-trap Club (BTCD) and the Military Sports and Artistic Club (CSAM) experienced change at a general assembly on Friday at the Toufaire center.

The president of the BTCD, James Provost, passed the torch to Joyce Roulin after many years at the head of the club, of which he remains, however, the vice-president and treasurer.

James Provost declared himself happy to leave the responsibilities of the BTCD to a trusted man, who will guarantee the stability and continuity of the section. The new office

will present its 2025 projects in January. They should be up to par in 2024, on a sporting level.

Dunois shooters obtained 79 departmental, regional and national podiums. A special mention was addressed to Jean-François Mengal, Joyce Roulin and François-Xavier Mengal, honored by the municipality for their performances.

Before leaving his role as president, James Provost set the priorities: “to have permanent staff, trained referees, a certified shooting school and to continue to develop training. »

The BTCD is continuing its investments in renewable energies, particularly photovoltaics, to power its equipment. The club is also pleased to have maintained its ground for nine more years on the old racecourse.
