A difficult choice for Hubert against Beerschot

This Thursday, Anderlecht qualified for the quarter-finals of the Belgian Cup. But Sporting immediately had to remobilize because there is a duel against Beerschot on the program this Sunday.

More generally, the program in the coming weeks will be quite busy with a European trip to Slavia Prague next Thursday. There will then be a Limburg diptych facing Saint-Trond and Genk. Finally, a home match against Dender will close the year.

Cornelian choice

Against Beerschot, things will not necessarily be simple and David Hubert will be faced with a difficult choice: play with his best team or allow some to breathe to face the next matches in the best possible condition?

In the end, the coach should opt for a hybrid solution, with some of the starters who will be able to take a little rest and others who will play a series of matches. Back in the group after his injury, Ludwig Augustinsson could start this Sunday, even if there is no risk of relapse.

No risk

For the same reason, Leander Dendoncker could remain on the bench, he who played the entire match on Thursday and who should therefore not continue. Up front, Francis Amuzu seems more than ever a candidate for tenure on the right. Samuel Edozie should be back in the squad but no risks should be taken with him either.

LE XI PROBABLE

Coosemans – Foket, Simic, Jørgensen, Augustinsson – Rits, Leonie – Dreyer, Stroeykens, Amuzu – Dolberg
