Robert Lewandowski scored the 100th goal of his career in the Champions League this Tuesday, November 26, during Barcelona’s clash against .

Lewandowski, 36, converted the penalty after initially winning the penalty after a foul by Marco Bizot. The Polish striker achieved the feat on his 125th appearance in the competition.

The striker now joins Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi in an exclusive list of players to have scored 100 goals in the competition’s history.

Lewandowski has scored six goals in five games so far in the tournament this season and leads the scoring charts.

He also tops the La Liga goalscoring list with 15 goals in 14 games. Barcelona currently sit first in La Liga with 34 points, four ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, having played a game more.
