Michael Verschueren was the target of a second burglary this Monday. The former sports director of Anderlecht reported the facts via X (formerly Twitter).
Michael Verschueren was targeted by a burglary at his home in Dilbeek this Monday evening. The former manager of RSC Anderlecht recounted the bad experience via social networks: he was not at his home, but his daughter.
“Second burglary at our house today. This time our youngest daughter was at home and called her mother. She then ran away to the neighbors,” Verschueren wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
“There’s not much to say about it, in the end. But you go crazy when the family app sends these notifications,” continues Michael Verschueren, who concludes: “Thanks to the Dilbeek police for their quick help.”
Michael Verschueren was alongside Marc Coucke during the takeover and later became sporting director of RSC Anderlecht. In 2019, he achieved the impossible by convincing Vincent Kompany to return to the fold.
However, he was forced to step back when Wouter Vandenhaute and Peter Verbeke arrived. Since then, he has no longer held any position at RSCA, having left the Board of Directors in 2023 and sold all his shares.
