The Montreal Canadiens confirmed Monday morning that they had recalled the Quebec forward after the latter collected 16 points in 17 games with the team’s home club this year.

At the time of writing, we do not know if Roy will be in uniform against the Utah club tomorrow night at the Bell Center.

Aged 21, Roy played 23 games with the Habs last season, collecting four goals and nine points along the way.

A fifth-round pick in 2021, the skater from Saint-Georges-De-Beauce was demoted to the Rocket after an ordinary camp.

Furthermore, the CH requested and obtained a waiver in order to extend the stay of Rafaël Harvey-Pinard in the American League. The 25-year-old is recovering from a broken leg that required surgery during the off-season.

-In Laval, the Rocket is somewhat lacking in attack. Brandon Gignac (lower body) is sidelined and will require further medical evaluation. His teammate Luke Tuch (upper body) will miss three to four weeks of play. Consequently, Jakov Novak was promoted from the Trois-Rivières Lions.
