WRC rally. “Help the team win the constructors’ title”: Sébastien Ogier revealed his 2025 program

Eight-time world champion Sébastien Ogier, 40, and his co-driver Vincent Landais will race next year, as this year, only part of the rallies. In 2024, the French crew won three events (Croatia, Portugal, Finland).

“It’s really great to stay with Toyota in 2025. We’ve already had five fantastic seasons together with lots of victories and I can’t wait to continue making this story. As I will only do a partial program, my objective will be to help the team win the constructors’ title,” declared the Haut-Alpine driver in the press release.

Rovanperä returns full-time with Toyota

As for double Finnish world champion Kalle Rovanperä (2022, 2023) and his co-driver Jonne Halttunen, they will participate in all WRC rallies in 2025 at the wheel of a Toyota, the Japanese manufacturer, world champion this year, announced on Monday.

In 2024, Rovanperä raced seven rallies with Toyota and won four (Kenya, Poland, Latvia, Chile).

“This year was special for me as I drove different cars and won a few rallies at the same time. It was a good season, but it also gave me a lot of motivation to come back and do a full season in order to fight, with Jonne, for the title of world champion of drivers and co-drivers and to help as best we can. team to also win the manufacturers’ title,” comments the 24-year-old Finn in the Toyota press release.

In addition to Rovanperä, Toyota will entrust a full-time Yaris Rallye1 in 2025 to Elfyn Evans, vice-world driver champion this year, Takamoto Katsuta and Sami Pajari.

The Monte-Carlo rally will open the season as usual, from January 23 to 26.
