In the Trojan coldthe Grenoblois encountered some difficulties in effectively approaching the meeting. The first attempt from Pape Meïssa Ba, well launched by Ayoub Jabbari, did not worry the opposing goalkeeper (7e). A start to the meeting where the Aubois and the Alps were building without being able to get close to the cages. Lenny Joseph, alone at 6 meters, was caught at the last moment by Boura who managed to save his team without causing the penalty and preventing the Isère striker from hitting (15e). In a balanced first part of the match, neither team found the loophole to worry the two goalkeepers despite a clear improvement for Oswald Tanchot’s men.
Returning from the locker room, the rhythm remained the same as in the first period where each of the two teams, in turn, put their foot on the ball without being really dangerous. While the thermometer continued to fall, the Grenoble camp found itself besieged by increasingly pressing locals, without involving Bobby Allain (60e). The Trojans seemed close to opening the score, but the local defender’s attempt came very close to the Isère goal (74e). The Alps tried to go for victory at the end of the match, Alan Kérouédan tried his hand at entering the area but the latter’s attempt could not worry the Trojan goalkeeper (84e). Despite a duller match in terms of entertainment, Jessy Benet’s teammates took their first points at home in 2 months against a team undefeated for 4 games.
Next match next Saturday (5 p.m.) with a trip to Istres!
