Marco Materazzi doesn’t hold grudges. Once the most hated man in France for having pushed Zinédine Zidane to the limit one evening in July 2006 in Berlin in the World Cup final, he offered to meet him to bury the hatchet 18 years after receiving a blow ball from “Zizou”, which earned him an expulsion for the last match of his career. “I’m not trying to apologize anymore but I would be happy to have a conversation with him now that so many years have passed.
