With the recent induction of former Montreal Canadiens captain Shea Weber into the Hall of Fame, the question on everyone’s lips is: Could Carey Price make his way into this select group right away? next year?

Savard, who also spoke about the book The greatest dynastyfor which he wrote the preface, which retraces the magical epics towards the Stanley Cup of CH between 1968 and 1979, told a great anecdote about Shea Weber when he was still playing with the team.
“I met him once in a small restaurant in Candiac, and his leg was in a cast at the time,” explained the man who won six Stanley Cups with the Habs. I was eating with my daughter a little further away, and so I go to pay but he tells me: “your bill is paid.”
The former Canadian fullback therefore took advantage of Weber’s induction into the Hall of Fame to thank him.
“I knew him, but I had never spoken to him and I stopped and shook his hand. When I arrived, I told him: “I would like to thank you for the bill you paid me.”
