Sergio Garcia will be accompanied by familiar faces during his possible return to the DP World Tour in 2025.
As announced in bunkeredGarcia reapplied for DPW Tour membership and paid outstanding fines he had accrued while participating in LIV Golf events.
It means the Ryder Cup’s all-time leading scorer has revived his hopes of staging a dramatic comeback in the bi-annual clash with the United States.
Garcia has been reinstated as a Category 1 member, which will allow him entry into any event once he has served his suspensions.
Other LIV Golf players could join Sergio Garcia on the DP World Tour next season:
Tyrrell Hatton (The)
Jon Rahm (Esp)
Adrian Meronk (POL)
Dean Burmester (Rsa)
Joaquin Niemann (Chi)
Thomas Pieters (Bel)
Patrick Reed (The)
Lucas Herbert (Aus)
If these transfers are confirmed, it is good news for the DPW Tour which will not take a dim view of the return of these high-level players and the “fines” that go with it.
