It was announced, it is now official. This Tuesday evening, AS Nancy-Lorraine actually revealed the location of the clash in the eighth round of the Coupe de France which will pit it against SC Bastia (L2). Initially planned at the Marcel-Picot stadium, the National giant took “after careful consideration” the decision to reverse the match and thus travel to Corsica. “The choice was difficult between allowing you to attend a match in the Coupe de France spirit against a hierarchically superior opponent and asserting the reason to optimize the work undertaken on Marcel Picot's pitch for the championship which remains our priority to all with still a long way to go” writes the club currently leader of the third French division.

“It is because we have the same passion that we want to show reason for this round and give ourselves the means to offer you the best of our team in our stadium until the end of the season!” continues the press release from the club to Chardons, who also wanted to thank the island team. As a reminder, the clash between the two teams will take place on Friday November 29, with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m.
