IN PICTURES – Lodève finally celebrated Victor Koretzky, silver medalist at the Olympics in cross-country mountain biking

On his bike, Victor Koretzky cut through the crowd this Thursday inside the Ramadier hall in Lodève. A crowd made up of nearly 500 children from the city’s schools, who came to celebrate the silver medal for the cyclist at the Olympic Games in the Cross-Country MTB eventa little more than three months after this second place. Photos, autographs, questions and answers: the 30-year-old from Hérault gave of himself. “I don’t yet realize that I’m an example, but when I hear children or their teachers say it, it warms my heart.“, says the short-track mountain bike world champion, who also visited the construction site of new sports complex which will bear his name and cycled with around fifty residents through the streets of Lodève.
