Bologna aim for first Champions League success

The 4th day of the Champions League begins Tuesday evening. On the Swiss side, all eyes will be on Bologna and its internationals Remo Freuler and Dan Ndoye.

Ninth in Serie A with three victories in ten matches, Bologna is aiming for a first success in the Champions League when they host Monaco. Breel Embolo’s ASM – whose captain Denis Zakaria is more than uncertain – is still undefeated in C1 with two victories and 1 draw.

Bayer Leverkusen’s Granit But the German champion goes to Liverpool, one of only two teams (with Aston Villa) with 9 points to their score in 3 matches played.

The Cityzens are keen to erase the defeat suffered on Saturday at Bournemouth, their first in the league this season, which cost them 1st place in the Premier League. The reigning four-time English champion can, however, expect to suffer on the Sporting pitch, who also have 7 points.

Resting this weekend due to the floods which have devastated the Valencia region, Real Madrid will play their first match since the humiliating defeat (4-0) suffered at the Bernabeu against Barça. The holder of the trophy, who remains on a good comeback in C1 against Dortmund, welcomes Noah Okafor’s AC Milan.
