Lacking playing time with the Piedmont club, Paul Pogba is currently serving a suspension for doping. Initially sanctioned for four years, the international with 91 caps finally saw the Court of Arbitration for Sport reduce his sentence to 18 months. A decision that makes Medhi Benatia happy.
“On a human level, I am happy that his suspension has been reduced and that he will be able to return to play soon,” assured the Olympian leader.
Absent from the field since September 3, 2023, Paul Pogba will be able to play again from March 11, 2025 and will need intense preparation to be fit to play in competition. It remains to be seen whether it will be with Juventus, who would have thought of terminating his contract, or elsewhere.
