Dolberg surprises about Fredberg: “We felt something was going to happen” – Tout le football

Kasper Dolberg received a standing when he left the field for Luis Vazquez. The Dane scored two more goals, enough to end the week peacefully after his hat-trick in Tubize; he really needed it.

Kasper Dolberg saw his two Danish bosses and compatriots leave RSC Anderlecht in the space of two months. First Brian Riemer, then Jesper Fredberg. “It was a bit strange, because I obviously had a very good relationship with Jesper. He’s the one who brought me here,” the striker admitted to the press.

And for the players it was already clear for a long time that something was going to happen. “We knew there was something going on behind the scenes and something was going to happen. It wasn’t easy because of course you want to know the details. We felt there was something off the field that wasn’t right,” Dolberg reveals.

The penalty man at Anderlecht

Dolberg, however, is getting better and better on the pitch and his statistics are showing. Of course, Tubize and Kortrijk are more viable opponents than Bruges. “But I’m still happy to have scored five times,” he smiled.

“Was there any agreement on this penalty? Yes, of course. Otherwise, Dreyer would have kept the ball for himself. The video referee still had to check and then he gave me the ball immediately. Yes, I’ve scored 18 penalties in my career and only missed one. That makes me a specialist, right?

And also a free kick specialist? Not really, but this time Dolberg took his chance successfully. “I saw that I had to put it there and I hit it well. I will try my luck again in the future,” concludes the Danish striker.
