PSG made an offer to Achraf Hakimi to renew his contract which expires in June 2026.
According to specialist journalist Fabriozio Romano, Parisian leaders have already prepared the contract and want the Moroccan international to continue the adventure in France. PSG made this offer to Hakimi given that the defender is coveted by many teams including Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester City who wish to secure his services.
Remember that Luis Enrique, the coach of Paris Saint-Germain, declared on Friday that Achraf Hakimi is currently the best player in his position in the world.
In statements made before his team’s match against Lens, scheduled for this Saturday in Ligue 1, Luis Enrique assured that Achraf Hakimi remains the best right-back he has met during his coaching career.
Regarding the possibility of Hakimi winning the African Golden Ball title, Luis Enrique clarified that he cannot predict this, because he does not know the level of the other candidates for this award, adding that the star of the selection Moroccan culture is evolving rapidly. “He is constantly improving. I think what he is showing this season is of a higher quality than what he was doing last season. He must continue on this path in the years to come,” notes Luis Enrique.
The former FC Barcelona coach also stressed that Hakimi is discovering himself as a player and as a man and that he is a real asset for PSG.
