A simple clearing or more lasting warming? Are we starting a new housing situation in France? This is the question that will serve as a common thread for the debates at the Real Estate Meetings that “Sud Ouest” is organizing, in public, on Wednesday, November 13 at the Espace Océan in Anglet, from 8:30 a.m. invites elected officials and main housing stakeholders to debate around three round tables. They will be questioned by journalists Pierre Sabathié and Pierre Vincent.
The first will focus on the market situation. Can we talk about recovery? A thrill? Where do we still see a halt in transactions? Three experts will answer our questions: Pierre Bourgade, representative of the interdepartmental chamber of notaries, Sophie Mazzarella, director of the 64 branch network of Crédit Agricole Pyrénées Gascogne, and Élodie Mir, co-president of the Béarn-Bigorre National Real Estate Federation -Basque Country. Evolution of prices, credit conditions, state of the rental market… End of crisis or slight rebound? We will know more on Wednesday November 13.
The second debate will focus on youth housing with the participation of the four main social landlords in the area. Lausséni Sangaré, director of Habitat Sud Atlantic (HSA), Xavier Camlong, territorial director 64 of Domofrance, Imed Robbana, general director of the Housing Workers’ Committee (COL), and Thierry Montet, general director of the Public Office of habitat, will exchange their points of view on the difficulties and solutions for finding a home for young people in the Basque Country.
Differentiation
In the third round table, we will discuss the measures announced at the beginning of October by Michel Barnier in terms of housing and their possible application in the Basque Country. It is particularly a question of differentiation, a term that sounds good to the ears of Jean-René Etchegaray, mayor of Bayonne and president of the Basque Country Urban Community. He will debate with Arnaud Dunoyé, representing the Federation of real estate developers in South Aquitaine, and Cyril Cury, southwest institutional director of Arkea Banque. Joëlle Gras, sub-prefect of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, in charge, in particular, of the question of housing, will also be present to set the State’s new course on this sensitive subject which remains one of the main concerns of the French.
