Mike Künzle and Kevin Etter suspended, Tyler Moy extends at Rapperswil – rts.ch

Mike Künzle (Zug) and Kevin Etter (Fribourg) were suspended following offenses committed during National League matches on Saturday. In addition, Tyler Moy has extended his contract with Rapperswil for another year.

Mike Künzle will miss the next EV Zug match due to a charge from behind against Zurich’s Dean Kukan. The Swiss international (36 caps) received a match penalty for the action.

For his part, Kevin Etter saw an investigation opened against him due to a potential charge to the head of Lugan’s Cole Cormier which had escaped the referees at the time. The 21-year-old from Friborg was provisionally suspended for one match following this incident.

Tyler Moy enjoys Rapperswil

Rapperswil also announced as a preamble to its clash against Berne the extension of Tyler Moy for an additional year, i.e. until 2026. The Swiss international (33 caps) joined the St. Gallen club in 2022 after two seasons played with Geneva (55 points in 114 matches).

Binational Swiss-American, the 29-year-old striker has been playing in the National League since 2018. A power-play specialist, he seems to enjoy the banks of Lake Zurich, since he has already compiled 102 points in 115 games with the Lakers .
