The Commercial Court preserves an institution, 118 million euros in debt… The Chamois Niortais were liquidated for 3 million euros in debt, being banned from all championships…”.

He adds.

“If there are double standards?!” Of course, it’s normal, because it remains a historic club and for French football it is very important, for the city too, for the Metropolis. It’s very good. But we can ask ourselves a few questions. I personally think that Gérard Lopez is very strong in this, for everything that involves resolving debts. He had done it with King Street and Fortress. He will succeed in drastically reducing this debt. Maybe the club will start again. If the club ever goes back to National, it can have a little hope. But it’s true that we can say that the public authorities, the institutions, the Bordeaux commercial court, everyone is ensuring that the Girondins get back on their feet”
