When did you make the decision to declare yourself a candidate to management?

“I am in a long process which has accelerated over the last three weeks. I have been able to realize certain things. I never doubted. I did what I was asked to do and took my responsibilities. The coaching bug has been growing in me for a while and especially in recent weeks. Management asked me if I was thinking about the position and I decided to be one of the candidates. table.”

“I don’t feel like I had to be convincing. I was open and honest, which is what the club expected of me. I was critical of my job because everything wasn’t good.”

“No, because I know how emotions work in football and I can take a lot of perspective. I just needed a few days to think.”

Frankie Vercauteren is the coach who trained you the most. Is this a source of inspiration?

“I have a lot of them because I have worked with a lot of coaches. I have picked up some positive elements but some negative ones that I will avoid reproducing. I took certain things from Vercauteren. I also look at a lot of other coaches , teams. I am open to new ideas and developments.”
