However, major maneuvers should not be launched immediately. “Everyone recognizes that we have a squad which today allows us to move up (in Ligue 1). We are not going to do anything crazy in the January transfer window,” promises Ferracci. “We will make small adjustments, as usual.” So the Arnault family is not aiming to make a big splash this transfer window? “No, no. Like Troyes for Manchester City, the one who is still the leader of the PFC is not afraid that his club will become a satellite entity, doomed to be only a training channel for the galaxy Red Bull? “When the Arnaud family enters a majority in a company, I am not aware of it becoming the satellite of a minority shareholder. (…) There will be good understanding between the Arnault family and Red Bull. I think the balance that will be found will be satisfactory for both parties.”
Through its holding company Agache, owner of LVMH, the Arnault family will buy Paris FC with the Red Bull groupintended to have “an advisory role”. The three parties announced this Thursday that they had entered into exclusive negotiations to finalize the operation.
