At Zack Nani, the former Girondins de midfielder, Yacine Adlispoke about the previous season at the Club’s descent to the Scapular in Ligue 2, when the team acquired its maintenance a few days before the end of the financial year. He told an anecdote about Nicolas De Preville.

“From Préville, he didn’t play too much, and we were starting to be in the abyss a bit. He had a meeting, I will always remember it. He said ‘listen guys, I don’t give a damn about what we’re going to do, how we’re going to play, I swear to you, I don’t want my name to be associated with a descent with the Girondins de Bordeaux. I can go down with other clubs, but with the Girondins de Bordeaux, it’s impossible. That had an impact on me. Conversely, when you have guys in a trading policy, with players who are on loan, when another one’s objective is already to leave, etc… You have ten players on loan, how do you expect them to players are attached to the thing, whether they are concerned with getting off or not?! That year, I was on loan, but I had been in Bordeaux for three and a half years, and I was still attached to Bordeaux. I wanted to see the club at the highest level. Afterwards, there was a succession of things that caused you to get lost and things to become complicated. It’s one blunder that leads to another, it’s an infernal spiral… Really, Bordeaux, there are a lot of regrets, but also a lot of learning. I learned a lot of things there.”
