A T1 was offered to Anderlecht but was not accepted

Anderlecht finally appointed David Hubert as Brian Riemer’s successor. The young Belgian was preferred over several coaches. One of them, for example, offered himself and was found on the pre-selection list of the Brussels club. It was therefore not accepted.

Ivic offered himself to Anderlecht

Serbian media report that Vladimir Ivic was offered to RSC Anderlecht by his agent himself. The Serbian coach had the necessary experience with top clubs in smaller competitions.

He won the cup with PAOK Salonika (Greece) and was twice Israeli champion with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Ivic sat down at the negotiating table with Jesper Fredberg, but he was never more than an option. There was only one interview and no second one after that.

Ivic has been a free coach since March, following his dismissal from Krasnodar. Last summer, there were rumors of a return to PAOK, but it never materialized either.

Looking for another challenge

The Serbian coach is reportedly moving on to other teams as he wants to quickly regain his position as head coach. It is possible that he will send his CV to Belgian teams in the months or years to come. Who knows, maybe one day he will become a coach in the Jupiler Pro League.
