Boxing: Jake Paul offers Mike Tyson $5M if he doesn’t get knocked out

Unless another injury derails the project, the fight between Jake Paul and former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will indeed take place at the Dallas Cowboys stadium, live on Netflix, on November 15.

The terms for the duel were already established before the first date last July, but Paul, coupled with his showmanship, has been in active promotion mode for a few weeks with a little over a month before the fight.

On his social media, he often sports a fake paunch to make him look like an imposing heavyweight, according to his comments. The strategies have had mixed success so far.

But, on his TikTok account, Paul launched an arrow that may hit the target.

Indeed, the young boxer offered the tidy sum of 5 million additional dollars to Tyson if he was able to get past the fourth round against him without being knocked out.

You don’t even have to win the fight, just stay up for a fifth round.

The catch, however, is that if Mike Tyson is unable to complete the challenge, he will have to get “I love Jake Paul” tattooed on his body after the fight. A bet similar to what Tyron Woodley made with Paul during their confrontation.

Mike Tyson’s clan has still not responded to the challenge.

Jake Paul, while waiting for this fight, had fought a hot battle against Mike Perry in July with a technical knockout in the sixth round. He now has a 10-1 record between the wires.

Tyson, for his part, has been inactive professionally since 2005 with his record of 50-6. On the other hand, in 2020, he jumped into the ring against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition fight.

At 58, the former heavyweight monarch is 31 years Paul’s senior.
