Lorient supporters will be present in Caen, against all expectations. This Saturday, October 5, the Merlus travel to the Normands pitch (2 p.m.), for the 8th day of Ligue 2.
Their supporters were not authorized to travel to Normandy, due to the revocation of the reprieve from which the Lorient residents received by the disciplinary committee of the Professional Football League.
130 Lorient supporters expected
Initially, the Professional Football League decided to sanction the FCL with a suspended match behind closed doors following lasers used in the yard. Seeing that this had not had an effect since the Merlus supporters started again in Pau, the disciplinary committee decided to bang its fist on the table by applying the closed session of the visitor area to the Morbihan club for the next meeting outside its bases.

This should therefore have been effective this Saturday, in Caen. But buses of supporters left Lorient in the morning. As a precautionary measure, the Calvados prefecture preferred to open the visitor parking lot at the last minute. In total, no less than 130 Lorient residents are expected.
