SLIDESHOW – Between Kylian Mbappé’s first hat-trick in the Real Madrid jersey, Jannik Sinner’s second consecutive triumph in Melbourne, Clément Noël’s superb coronation in Kitzbühel or even the sinking of the Stade Français in … Discover the tops and the flops of the sports weekend.

Kylian Mbappé is indeed back. Author of his first hat-trick on Saturday with Real against Valladolid (0-3), the captain of the team, currently on fire, has accumulated eight goals in his last five matches with the White House and remains full of confidence. The Merengue scorer is only one goal behind the current top scorer in the Spanish championship, Robert Lewandowski.

In terms of exceptional form, Jannik Sinner is also doing very well, this time in the world of the little yellow ball. The world number one swept Alexander Zverev in three sets (6-3, 7-6, 6-3) on Sunday to win his second consecutive title at the Australian Open, his third Grand Slam triumph.

In rugby, Stade Français Paris looks gloomy and continues to worry after its disaster at the bottom of Vannetaise on Saturday (33-28). The Pink Soldiers are sinking further into the relegation zone. Still in , Jorge Sampaoli’s Stade Rennais is also in an increasingly delicate situation. The Rouge et Noir, after their new setback in Monaco on Friday evening (3-2), collapsed to sixteenth place in Ligue 1 and suffered a fourth defeat in a row.

We will also note the magnificent coronation of Clément Noël. The Frenchman won the legendary Kitzbühel race on Sunday, his fourth success of the season, a few days before the Worlds, making him the most successful French skier in slalom history. In Paris, the NBA (unfortunately) packs up after the second and final meeting between the San Antonio Spurs and the Indiana Pacers (98-136). The party is over.
